You are currently not Active in an Undergraduate or Postgraduate program. If you wish to apply for Leave of absence, you must contact your Student Connect.
- an international student International students seeking Leave of Absence must first meet with an International Student Advisor for approval. To make an appointment with an International Student Advisor, contact the relevant campus.If you have met with an International Student Advisor and have their approval for Leave of Absence then proceed with applying online.
Do not use this form if you are
- a research higher degree student
- Research higher degree students are to contact the Griffith Graduate Research School.
- a non-award, miscellaneous studies, certificate program or cross-institutional study student
- Non-award, miscellaneous studies, certificate program and cross-institutional students are not entitled to apply for Leave of absence. You must cancel your enrolment, in line with Griffith's important dates, and request to be readmitted when you wish to return to study. Students will be subject to approval at the time they request to be readmitted.
- an honours student
- Student undertaking honours programs are to use the honours leave of absence request form
